Export to PowerPoint, JIRA service pack, and more
| New! Export your Power BI service reports directly into PowerPoint It's been one of our most requested features, and we're pleased to make it happen: starting this week, we're previewing the ability to export your Power BI service reports to PowerPoint! You can select all of your report for exporting, or just segments. For example, you can export each report as its own slide, save individual visuals as high resolution images that are ready for resizing, and automatically recreate text boxes. This functionality is still in preview, so we'd love to hear what you think and how we can expand the exporting options in the future. | | | | Make an impact with Data Visualization and Storytelling courses Microsoft Power BI wants you to have all the essential tools you need to tell a great data story, which is why we've collaborated with Alberto Cairo, the Knight Chair of Visual Journalism at the School of Communication at the University of Miami, to develop five courses on visualization methodology for effective data storytelling. The Data Visualization and Storytelling courses include an introduction to visualization, an overview on data exploration, detail on truthful visualization, tips for choosing the right graphics, and insights on design and narrative. | | | | Explore your JIRA data with Power BI Announcing the JIRA content pack for Power BI! This new pack helps you quickly import JIRA data into the Power BI service, creating an instant dashboard you can use to analyze workloads, see how quickly you're resolving issues, visualize velocity over time, and more. Simply choose JIRA from the list of available content packs in the Power BI service and provide your JIRA URL and credentials. Once the connection has completed, Power BI will automatically create an out-of-the-box dashboard, report, and dataset with your data. | | | | Overcome marketing analytics challenges with Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx With more digital work being done than ever before, the sheer volume of data that marketing departments collect is growing each and every day.
