| Power BI Desktop June Feature Summary
This month our reporting features focus on accessibility and more flexibility when formatting your charts. With filtering and sorting options, our data view is now more powerful. Several connectors also get major updates this month, including a new driver for our SAP Business Warehouse connector that comes with numerous significant improvements. Check out the full list of June updates. | | | | Subscribe others to email subscriptions in Power BI We are excited to announce the highly requested capability for Pro users to subscribe other Pro users to e-mail subscriptions that have been setup for reports and dashboards in PowerBI.com. Additionally, if the content is in a Premium workspace, Pro users can subscribe any users, security groups, or distribution lists regardless of whether the recipient is a Pro user or not. Once you’ve added these other users to either your existing or new subscriptions, Power BI will now send the same screenshots of your report page directly to your inbox whenever the data changes. The image in your inbox will show up exactly as it does in Power BI, and include a link to the report where you or anyone you’ve subscribed can dig into the details. It’s an easy way to expand visibility to anyone in your organization for the reports that matter most to them. | | | | Drill Through and Report Server configuration with MDM tools Recently we have released a few highly anticipated features to our mobile apps. This latest release includes the ability to drill through data points in mobile, remotely configure employees’ apps on their mobile phones with Report Server details, and create phone optimized reports in Power BI Desktop.
