| Introducing Quick Measures in the Power BI Desktop April Update The most recent Power BI Desktop update has a number of new and improved capabilities that we think you'll love! We are introducing Quick Measures, which is a huge update to our Quick Calcs experience. We have some very exciting updates in both data connectivity and query editing, including allowing you to connect to datasets on the Power BI service, so you can create your model just once and use it in multiple reports. We also have an innovative new way to add columns in your query editor: add column by example. Additionally, we are extending our matrix preview with even more features and releasing a preview of Q&A in Spanish. See all the details in our blog post. | | | | Power BI service releases new admin controls, View Related Content pane, and more The Power BI service continues to support many of the features that have been rolled out lately in Power BI Desktop updates, such as expanded font color options, as well as some exciting new service-only additions! The view related content feature provides a fast way to view and jump between connected reports and dashboards. We also gave owners of DirectQuery and live connection datasets full control over how often we update their visual caches. See all the details in our March Feature Summary. | | | | Join your local User Group to exchange knowledge, explore solutions, and expand your connections March completed the first full month on the new Microsoft Power BI User Group (PUG) Platform.
